Interview with Pinetti

For this episode of The Buzz, Charles Stephenson chatted with Roberto Maffioletti, who is the marketing director of Pinetti.

To start this interview, Charles asks Roberto to talk about Pinetti, which was founded in 1983 as a family business. Roberto discusses the history behind this successful company. It turns out that it was created first to satisfy the personal design needs of the founders, and then it gradually expanded as demand for their products grew. It’s fascinating to hear about how this brand started off small and grew into a business that serves clients from around the world.

Although they have international customers, Pinetti is a local business in the sense that they work with local suppliers and support local craftsmen. Roberto talks about some of the clients—specifically, hotels—that they have had the pleasure of working with throughout the years. And he also dives into some of the many designers that the company has collaborated with, as well as upcoming collections that they are currently working on.

Pinetti creates a variety of unique products, so Roberto spends some time describing a few of his favourites and why they stand out against the rest. He focuses on his top three faves, which are all available for purchase on The Design Buzz, and it’s interesting to hear about their features. Roberto doesn’t hesitate to explain why these are clever and beautiful items that he would love to add to his own interior design scheme at home.

If you would like to see some of the many amazing products, including those that Roberto talks about in this interview, be sure to check out the Pinetti collection page. Once there, you can also place an order so you can get these extraordinary items into your home.
