Teak Root Bowl with Silver Iguana
A hand-carved wooden vase crafted from a Single piece of Teak Root Wood, decorated with a Sterling silver Iguana. The piece is brought to life with a ‘Tiger Eye Quartz’ set on its eyes and having embellished it with an elegant pink gold-plated flower. The teak root was sourced from the finest teak plantations in Java, Indonesia, which is known to have the ideal conditions for high grade Teak quality.
Teak is the common name for the tropical hardwood tree species Tectona grandis and its wood products, native to South and Southeast Asia. It is known for its incredible durability and water resistance. Teak has a high oil content, giving it the highest decay-resistance among all-natural wood products. Due to its durability, while it is still used for boat building, yachts, exterior construction, indoor and outdoor furniture, it also very dear to artists and sculptors for making intricate carvings and elaborate sculptures.

Product Care: Use teak cleaner or simply a cotton cloth to clean the wooden part. For silver decoration part in this piece has been coated with anti-tarnish, hence the silver is not to be polished. To clean it, use "stay clean" cream to gently wipe it with a cloth.
